Our vision
We are an Estate Agent who are trying very hard to carry the ‘green’message locally like has never been done before! We have been running a TREES FOR KEYS programme since September 2008 and to date have planted 100 trees. Each time we rent or sell a property we plant a tree on behalf of the owner of that property. This enables the tenants and purchasers, with very little effort, to be a part of the tree planting scheme as they are the ones who helped to make it possible. We currently plant trees via carbon footprint in association with trees appeal who plant trees within the London area. www.carbonfootprint.com/plantingtrees.html
Our eco vision is to carry on with the planting, but we would like to benefit the local community where we operate. Ideally, with the help of local councils we would like to be allocated an area where we could plant trees during the appropriate season. We would invite local schools (classes) to participate in the planting which could be linked to the curriculum resulting in an environmental project. We would like to make this fun and feel it would appeal to both primary and secondary school children alike. We have a sister company in South Africa, Hunters Estate Agents, who are also planting with the same message!
Being an Estate Agency comes with the usual stigma attached to it but we are trying our utmost to change this view. We have purchased a fleet of Fiat low emission cars which will carry our mission statement and would like to display eco-aware banners on lamp posts but have, so far, been unsuccessful in trying to relate this idea to Camden Council. We are genuinely trying to do something positive to show that we do care about our environment and the local community.
Like all businesses we have to make money to survive and are always looking for ways to raise our company profile but at the heart of our message, on this occasion, is the legacy which we must leave behind for the next generation and the planet in order for them to survive!

Carbon Neutral
We are proud to be London’s first Carbon Neutral Estate Agency. Offsetting the C02 emissions our company produces is just the tip of the ice berg. We are an approved company of Carbon Footprint, carbon offsetting company.
Opening our Parkway office in August 2008 was a challenging job. Our primary objective was to make our office as environmentally friendly as possible.
All our furniture was supplied by London’s leading eco-friendly furniture producer, Herman Miller. The Chairs we sit on are made from 96% recycled content (GREENGUARD certified). We have a fleet of low emission Fiat 500’s and a set of electric powered scooters that you will see our team whizzing about on in warmer weathers!
Our electricity is supplied by Ecotricity, renewable energy supplier. Our office cleaning is serviced by Green your office who only use ecofriendly products.
We also supply every tenant with an eco-awareness start up pack when they move into a property, which includes an energy efficient light bulb, environmentally friendly reusable shopping bag and energy saving tips as just some of the goodies.

Keys for trees
Working alongside one of the UK’s leading carbon offsetting companies, Carbon Footprint we have planted 100 trees within the London area. We pledge to plant a tree every time we rent or sell a property.
Putting your property on the market, buying or renting through London Residential means you are reducing your carbon footprint.
Once the tenancy starts you will receive a London Residential Trees For Keys certificate that will demonstrate your commitment to the environment.

Green Day sponsors, Regents Park 2008
The Camden Green Fair is held on the first Sunday in June each year, to coincide with World Environment Day and London Sustainability Weeks.
The Fair aims to inspire Londoners to help make their capital a world-class Green City, letting visitors find out about the huge and growing number of sustainable companies, products, campaigns, and lifestyle choices that are available to us all, every day.
Staff handed out over 4000 environmentally friendly shopping bags and launched our trees for keys initiative. We were on hand to give the general public our green message on how selling and renting through our company is helping the environment.
School sponsors
Over the last three years we have donated to various school festivals. Last year we donated two hundred environmentally friendly reusable shopping bags to Richard Cobden primary school (Camden Street NW1) and Carlton primary School (Grafton Road NW5).
The schools provided fabric paints so that the children could decorate the bags with their own piece of art.
